Day 2: We Grow

Day 2 – PYM 2026 | Growing Together in Humanity 🌱

Can we truly grow alone? After today, we say with increasing certainty: no.

In the first catechesis of PYM, Fr. József Urbán invited us to look at the journey of becoming human with new eyes. After the teaching, we shared our questions, experiences, and insights in small groups. Following the presentation of our group creations, we continued the dialogue during a Q&A session with Fr. József, who joined us live from Rome.

The opening Mass was celebrated by Father General Carles Gil. In his homily, he reminded us that faith is not a solitary journey: Christ calls us to grow side by side, helping one another. Maturity does not come from the disappearance of our struggles, but from trusting more and more in God, who shapes us even through our fragility and wants to be a light for others through us.

In the afternoon, the streets of Cluj-Napoca became a place of encounter. City challenges, shared discoveries, plenty of laughter, and even more connections—this is how we got to know both this beautiful city and each other at the same time. The day concluded with a fantastic Christian Party, followed by evening prayer led by the Polish Province.

We are beginning to experience that PYM is a community where we can grow together in humanity, faith, and friendship.
